Inari Welcomes Ag-Biotech Leader Ryan Rapp as Board Director

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., May 27, 2026 – Inari, the SEEDesign™ company, appointed Ryan Rapp to its board of directors, effective May 11. As a technology leader converging breakthroughs in AI, genomic research and gene editing, Inari works to create a smarter, more resilient and abundant agriculture system.

Ryan Rapp is an origination partner at Flagship Pioneering in conjunction with being the co-founder and CEO of Terrana Biosciences. Previously, he served as CTO at Pairwise, leading R&D strategy and execution in biotech to advance its consumer food product portfolio. He was also the associate director of agricultural genomics at Illumina after beginning his career at Monsanto, where he held multiple roles. Rapp holds a Ph.D. in Genetics from Iowa State University and a B.S. in Plant Science from Cornell University.
