Sebastian Helbig

Informed by more than two decades of experience in global agribusiness, Sebastian leads Inari’s finance organization, overseeing financial strategy, planning, accounting, and operations. He partners closely with leaders across the company to align investments with business priorities, drive disciplined resource allocation, and ensure Inari is optimally positioned to achieve its strategic objectives.

Sebastian joined Inari after 21 years at Monsanto and Bayer CropScience, where he held senior finance leadership roles of increasing scope and responsibility. Most recently, he served as Finance Vice President and Head of Crop & Asset Finance Management, leading a global finance team responsible for long-range financial planning and decision-making support for seeds and traits, crop protection, and digital businesses. Prior to that, he served as Finance VP & CFO of the company’s global vegetable seeds business through a period of growth and cash generation.

Sebastian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and Finance from McKendree University and completed the McKinsey & Company Executive Leadership Program.
